The Remote Monitoring service offered by Tech Prognosis is geared toward reducing your stress since you know that your critical network devices such as your servers, routers, firewall and network services such as email, web and backup are running smoothly.

Offsite Remote Monitoring with Onsite Support

Remote network monitoring allows Tech Prognosis to anticipate or identify issues before they become major problems. Real-time reports and a status dashboard help pinpoint the problem areas immediately.

Some of the items we will monitor include:

  • Monitoring of the integrity and reliability of your hardware like:
    • Hard disk space and disk life
    • Memory availability and usage
    • Processor usage and lifespan
    • Overall health of network device hardware (network card, modem, adapter cards, etc)
  • Making sure your anti-virus software is always protecting your network from malicious intruders and viruses.
  • Monitoring your UPS (power supply backup) to ensure that your battery backup unit is always there for you when you need it. During a power failure, your UPS gracefully shuts down your server(s) to prevent data corruption.
  • Monitoring of your server applications like email, FTP, web server and File and Print Services for potential faults that allows us to proactively address and repair potential issues to prevent server failure.
  • Monitoring your network devices like switches, routers and firewall so we can be alerted to any faults and repair them to protect your network from intruders and viruses.

As we monitor your network devices round-the-clock, if there is an error, we will receive an alert and will quickly determine if the issue is merely a warning or false positive, or if it warrants remote support from our Support Center or an onsite visit by an assigned technician. Business impact rules are determined with you in advance for each device or service being monitored, so Tech Prognosis knows how you would like us to resolve an issue: emergency, the next business day, our next on-site visit etc.

Remote Network and PC Support

If Remote Support is required, our service desk personnel can log into the server, pinpoint the problem and resolve it remotely. The service is convenient and provides a fast response because support can be done at any time without intervention on your part or disruption to you.
